A three part series emerged over at the MNU Blog about technology at the role it has in the daily lives of nurses and subsequent impact on healthcare.
Part one of the series investigated how technology impacts the quality of patient care, stakeholders, and government, and how the focus on technology can contribute to improving the latter (patient care).
Part two takes a look at the struggles technology has had on the healthcare industry and explores the pros and cons of the changeover (which comes as a burden to some).
Part three explores some of the avenues nurses are employing to accent their care. The technology examples provide reason for people to believe that well built technology, and practitioners trained to use the systems, can have a positive impact on healthcare.
Check out the series and add your comments.
